About JOYCEspeak

“Lord, heap miseries upon us yet entwine our arts with laughters low.”—James Joyce, Finnegans Wake

What is JOYCEspeak?

JOYCEspeak is a personal website that has been created to provide a website hub for readers and fans of James Joyce's works. I created it originally as a project to learn how to write HTML and CSS code for websites in an Interactive Design class at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) in the Advertising + Graphic Design Program.

Here you can find basic information on James Joyce's life and literature. There are also links to some of the vast number of other websites that are available on the subject. This site is by no means complete or is it a complete collection of information and it will be chanigng to add new links and materials as they are discoverd or revealed.
